AC vs DC FAST CHARGING

AC Charging

All you need to charge your truck is 100 amp, 208 or 240 volt, single-phase power. This allows charging from 20-100% in 6 hours (ZM8). ZM Trucks offers a 20kW charger with both RFID and Wi-Fi functionalities.

DC Fast Charging

For multi-shift operations, you will need to charge faster. ZM Trucks are capable of accepting DC fast charging. You will need 480 volt, 3-phase power. Most commercial buildings are standardly equipped. This allows charging from 20-80% in 40 minutes (ZM8). ZM Trucks will offer a mobile 60kW DC charger that does not require additional permitting.
